Do you offer private airport transfers?

Yes — all airport transfers with Ticket 2 Ride are private, dedicated charters. Your vehicle and driver are reserved exclusively for your group, with no shared passengers and no detours unless arranged in advance.

How is pricing calculated?

You’ll always receive a fixed, all‑inclusive price before you book. Your quote is based on the total driving time, distance, group size, and luggage requirements. We also factor in:

• Repositioning time to and from Doncaster
• Driver hours
• Fuel
• Cleaning time
• Tolls (if applicable)

Why can airport transfers cost more than a rideshare?

We’re a private charter service, not a taxi or rideshare. We offer highly competitive pricing for those requiring more room than a standard car or people mover, so there is no need to book two cars. Your booking includes:

How many people and how much luggage can you take?

Our minibuses can seat 11 people in each vehicle however capacity depends on both passenger numbers and luggage volume. Airport trips often involve:

• Golf bags
• Instruments

Tell us what you’re travelling with and we’ll confirm the right vehicle. If the load is too large for one vehicle, we’ll recommend a second vehicle for safety and comfort.

Do you track flight arrivals?

Yes — we monitor your flight and adjust your pickup time if you’re delayed or arrive early. There’s no extra charge for standard delays.

Where will the driver meet us at the airport?

Your confirmation includes the exact meeting point out the front of the terminal.  We keep it simple with:

• Clear instructions
• Direct contact with your driver
• No wandering around the terminal

Can you do multiple pickups or drop‑offs?

Yes — additional stops can be added to your booking. They may increase the total travel time and cost, but we’ll confirm everything upfront.

Do you operate early mornings or late nights?

Yes — subject to availability. Transfers between 10pm and 7am may attract a surcharge due to driver hours.

Do you offer return transfers?

Absolutely. Most groups book both legs at once for convenience. Just provide your flight details and we’ll take care of the rest.

I'm travelling with children. Do you provide car seats?

Yes we do, and for no extra cost. Our minibus has two ISOFIX dedicated seats for infants or young children. The seats can be positioned as forward facing or rear facing depending upon the age of the child. Booster seats (4-7yo) can also be provided.

What if our plans change?

If your plans shift, contact us as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to adjust your booking depending on availability and timing.

Do you offer shared or per‑seat transfers?

No — all services are private group charters.

Can you guarantee arrival times?

We plan your pickup time to allow for traffic and airport congestion, but Melbourne traffic can be unpredictable. We’ll recommend a safe departure time based on your suburb and flight however strongly recommend that you consider travel insurance for any unexpected delays.
